Guidelines about Safe Installation of Current Transformers
Here are some useful things to keep in mind during the installation of CTs:
Ensure the CT is sized properly for the current on the circuit.
Verily secure the device ground.Determining m11, m12, m21, and m22: Verily the scanning FET is not shorted (also check connections).
Verify all leads and connections and none are left hanging.
Test the CT after it has been installed to verify that it measures current properly.
